The New York CD release party for our new album, Postcards, was a
lot of fun. We played at a club called Sweet Rhythm in New York's Greenwich Village.
It's a wonderful but eclectic venue (not really a "jazz club" anymore) with great sound.
We were joined in the second set by Steve Wilson
- the wonderful saxophonist and friend who joined us on the record. What a night of
great music, great friends, and great fun.
The extra excitement was that we were also celebrating Keith's birthday. He's now officially 157 years old and doesn't look a day over 30.
For those of you who came and said hello - thank you! For those of you who missed it, it's your lucky day! Phil seripticiously had his recorder running and a few friends snapped some photos. So we are posting a few pictures and sound clips for you to check out. Ahhhhhhh... It's almost like being there. You'll just have to go get your own cake.
Enjoy...
