This is a tight group that has meshed well over several years of touring, and their mutual respect and empathy are palpable.

What's That Timmy? Tri-Fi fell down a well?! Ooooh, they were on the radio in February. Whew!

On February 24th , Tri-Popped into WMUK- National Public Radio at Western Michigan University, where we were grilled with questions like "Who is your biggest influence?", and "Why do you enjoy playing together as a trio?". The merciless interrogators were none other than the fearsome Garrard Macleod and intimidating Dave Hagar, hosts of the program The Jazz Scene.

Okay, maybe I need to lay off of the Tom Clancy books. The gracious Mr. Macleod and Mr. Hagar have a great radio program, and they were kind enough to let us play a little as well. The show runs about an hour long, and you can check it out right here. If you tune in, you'll catch a few new tunes that we're planning on recording this coming May!

OUR CURRENT CD!

Matthew Fries - piano
Keith Hall - drums
Phil Palombi - bass
with special guest
Steve Wilson on saxophone.

Recorded in January 2007, this new album is made up of entirely original material, most of which was written specifically for this recording. We took some chances exploring some different directions, which we think proved to be a lot of fun and very musical. We hope you enjoy it!
